design consultation
every strawberry maple project begins with a design consultation. this is a 2 part process.
the first part includes a virtual meeting via Zoom with coffee. we discuss your wedding plans and talk about different options and how you’d like to see the day take shape.
following the meeting the second part of the process begins. a design fee of £195 is payable to proceed. this includes a comprehensive design brief tailored for you and your wedding. we create a password protected page on the website where the brief is stored, which acts as a hub for your wedding.
following this, we arrange another Zoom meeting and discuss the brief in detail and a further revision of the brief is made if required.
the design fee is deductible from the project balance.
booking & meetings
to proceed, an amount the equivalent of 10% of the balance is due as a retainer, and your date is then secure.
contracts, and invoices are issued digitally, and we accept card payments. along with interim payments.
all onsite meetings are included, and do not incur a fee or charge. typically, 2 meetings would take place at your venue. the first is normally at least a year in advance, and the second is up to about 6 months before.
“sneak peak” setups at venues are possible where we create a demonstration version of your decor and setup, but this must be arranged with the venue in advance, and could be subject to fee depending on the level of setup required.
